Every so often we all need a refresher course in manners. Especially when it comes to dating and acting like the wonderful person that your dog, friends, family members, and BFF think we are!
So often, I see couples who just put up with each other and bicker instead of treating each other to the rock star status that we all wish to obtain from the one we are with. There is nothing sweeter or more wonderful than hearing those sweet, heartfelt compliments coming from the one you love…especially after a long, hard day of work. So, to help keep all of us in line, I devised a list of do’s and don’ts to refresh everyone’s...

There are so many fish in the sea yet the end of summer is quickly approaching and your dating roster is not maxed out! It’s time to change that scenario and start hooking some of those guys. So, how to change that and start landing some of the guys? We have created the perfect plan for you and to make sure it works my BFF and I gave it a trial run last week.
Here goes, our plan for your landing a good looking fish:
Step 1: Plan a spa day (I know this is going in a totally different direction than what you originally thought). Take a Friday off from work and spend...

In true girly romantic fashion, I have compiled a list of things I think every great guy who is trying to win the fancy of that beautiful gal should follow in order to capture her attention.
In those beginning stages of courting when you don’t really know each other but want to make the best impression, there are little gestures that can easily swing the vote in your direction. With so many varying female personalities to please, a list could run ad infinitum and, that, my awesome guys, would not be fair to you! So, I set out to streamline the “dos” of courting. I allowed myself an afternoon of leisurely relaxation,...

It was a tough task, but someone had to do it! So, after much field work and discussion with fellow researchers I am pleased to present you with the following gathered information:
We all know the most important part of a kiss is ensuring that your breath is fresh at all times. You never know when the kissing bandit may strike, so keep those breath mints handy!
It’s also important to keep lips well moisturized at all times. Rough, chapped lips do not bring forth passion of any type.
The waft of a delicious scent can also create an aura of intrigue. Cologne or perfumed...

My boyfriend doesn’t realize the importance of making out and always wants to go straight to the sex. What do I do?
Poor thing, I certainly hope you got a trainable one on your hands!!!Anyone who doesn’t realize the importance of making out is missing out on one of the best things in life. Making out is to sex what football is to the Superbowl. When I’m off in la-la land before being rudely interrupted by reality I’m usually conjuring up one of those past great make out sessions in my mind.
Make him realize how much fun it can be….greet him at the door in a sexy little number, let him...

You’re dating someone. Completely smitten. Yet the clocks and calendars aren’t always in sync. Then after days of little to no contact, brief five word responses to emails and short 60 seconds phone calls with bar noise in the background, your other half wants to see you?!? What happened to courtship? Where is the love? Where are those sweet, romantic gestures that don’t cost anything but make you purr?
Every so often the craziness of everyday living seeps in between the two of you and rears its ugly head, but usually it can be narrowed down to a flat-out head injury from getting run over by the dating bus...

So, when your other half pulls an idiot move, do you:
- Leave for an appointment with your retail therapist
- Run screaming and crying to your mommy (or best friend)
- Calmly (deep breath here) talk about the situation
- Go “out of town on business” and not respond to anything for a week
As much as we would all like to claim the calmness it usually isn’t. And even though you were snickering to yourself as you read the choices, yeah, think about it….we’re all guilty of not being so “adult” sometimes. You’ve got to face the realities. Our knee jerk reactions...

“Some people say the grass is always greener on the other side. I say be the gardener. Water it. Feed it. Make your own grass grow. I make the grass greener wherever I am.
I’m the gardener.” - Chad Johnson
You always hear the singles wishing that they could find “the one” and the spoken-fors wishing that they could go back to the single life…the grass always seems greener on the other side. Then, occasionally, you get lucky and run into the people who realize that they are perfectly and wonderfully content exactly where they are - whether single or spoken-for. Which fairy bopped...

Robin Hood, the Prince of Thieves, stealing from the rich to give to the poor…he was my my hero when I was a little girl. Then I grew up and realized that in the hustle and flow that is my life, I need to devote time, effort and money to a cause that is much bigger than myself but in a manner a bit more practical (and less likely to land me in trouble) than Robin’s.
This is one of those areas in life where I chose based upon what is closest to my heart and fun-factor. For me, the fun-factor revolves around a big party and my heart revolves around children. Just trying to tell the story of the last Code RED party...
