Time to leave my favorite city, my favorite designer and all my new friends BUT being the social butterfly that I am I had to stop by the show for one last goodbye to everyone….



3 drinks later, lunch, 5 more introductions, hellos & goodbyes, a long chat with Gerard about Black Tie Magazine, chatter about the shows to all of the editors that were out and about, a scream of “Oh my god I’m about to miss my plane” and I run to grab my bags and fetch a taxi. Who then proceeds to drive me around the block when I realize that there is no way I can make...

A quick run through Central Park - check. Cute guys to run behind - oh yeah! Out of shape and walking five minutes later - yep, that’s me. So much for being the sexy, stealth runner.



Just on time for the fashion show - had to stop and get a bottle of champagne for the backstage celebrations



Wardrobe change, makeup…unbelievably incredible makeup artist!, hair, hot models, meeting “the people”, stopping for pictures, drinks, Soucha in a whirlwind getting his models...

I roll out of bed and feel like I have been run over by a herd of galloping moose. I think I’ve had a total of 7 hours of sleep in the past two nights…coffee please!

It’s a beautiful New York morning and I hail a cap with the first flicker of my hand. Who then drives me four blocks away and drops me off at the Plaza for the Today show festivities. Yeah. Coulda walked here in the same amount of time. Hmmm, maybe I should try using that map that the concierge gave me…

I leap out of bed and start scrambling…of course my bags are not packed yet and my flight leaves at 9. Someday I’m actually going to catch up with myself!!! Ten minutes of yoga and I’m ready to roll!

Traffic. This early on a Thursday morning on the downtown connector. Thank god I work from home, I would be a road rage bitch or asleep at the wheel if I had to deal with this on a daily basis.



Ugh!!! Too many people doing the one thing I hate witnessing the most - picking their nose! Do they not realize...
